Congratulations to the Eisenhower Elementary RoboEagles after placing 1st in the Robot Design portion of the First Lego League Competition in Oklahoma City on November 12!
Eisenhower has only had a robotics program for 3 years and has only been attending competitions for the last 2 years. Students work once a week after school learning how to code and program the robots to complete tasks and receive points during competitions. They then present to judges how their robot functions and why they chose to design it as they did.
The RoboEagles are coached by Eisenhower teacher Mrs. Jennifer Edwards and Lt. Col. Jonathan Smith. The team members are Matthew Smith, Connor O'Neill, Brooke Jackson, Zoe Dwyer, Asa Roe, Grayson Haas, and Krystal Edwards.
