March 4th - 8th is Read Across America Week. Eisenhower will have dress-up days to help encourage our students to get excited about books and reading.
Dress-up days are optional for students, they are welcome to dress up every day, one or two days, or none at all.
Monday - Crazy Hair Day
Tuesday - Wear Bright Colors
Wednesday - Wear Silly Clothes
Thursday - Dress for the career you want
Friday - Pajama Day (3rd, 4th, and 5th may wear PJ's another day due to their field trip)
Eisenhower Spring Book Fair Now Open!
Come visit the Scholastic Book Fair at Eisenhower Elementary and inspire your student to become a life long reader! Every purchase at the Fair benefits our school and helps grow our library.
The Book Fair will be here Friday, Feb. 9th through Thursday, Feb. 15th.
It is open every morning before school, every afternoon after school and during conferences on Tuesday and Thursday.

Eisenhower Elementary is kicking off their World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser on Monday, October 2nd. Students who help sell chocolate bars will receive prizes for helping raise money for our school and the top 3 sellers will be awarded gift cards in the amount of $100, $75, or $25. Students who sell 2 boxes or more will be entered to win a 5 lb. Chocolate Bar!
Families who are new to Eisenhower Elementary are invited to join us for a New Enrollee Meeting on Monday, August 14th at 5:00 pm (just prior to Meet the Teacher). Dr. Murphy, our amazing Principal, will introduce to our school culture and answer any questions you have about the ins and outs of our school. Our school counselor and school secretary will be there as well to welcome you to a great 23-24 school year. We are excited to welcome you to the Eagle family!

Eisenhower Elementary Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade classes visited the Oklahoma City Zoo on Thursday, April 6th. They had a fantastic time seeing lots of animals, learning their names, fun facts about where they are from, and enjoying lots of time outside.
A big thanks to our teachers Mrs., Wilson, Ms. McCarter, and Mrs. Powell for spending several months planning this outing for our students and a giant thank you to all our parent chaperones who helped make this trip a success!

Come help us raise money for wonderful Eisenhower Library so our students can continue to grow their love of reading.
Beginning August 22 the Main Hairston Gate at Vance AFB will be closed for updates. During this time please use the Baker Industrial Gate (west gate) to access Eisenhower Elementary School.
The Visitor Control Center will remain open to assist with base passes for parents and guardians who require them.
The closure is expected to last through December 22, 2022.
