We received orders and moved to Enid in November of 2016, and I began teaching at Eisenhower Elementary in August 2017. I am teaching all subjects in fourth grade.
Previously, I was employed in Sumter School District in Sumter, South Carolina. I spent nine years at High Hills Elementary School teaching fourth and fifth grade, all subjects.
My husband, Ken, and I have been married for 16 years. We have a daughter, Summer, who attends Enid High School, and a son, Russell, who is not yet in school. We have one dog, Sissy, who is a Shih-Tzu.
We call North Carolina home, and once my husband retires from the military, we will be returning to spend time with family!
One of my favorite things to do is read. Most of the times, I enjoy reading fantasy series, such as Harry Potter. I love to bake and my favorite recipe to make is my grandmother’s pound cake!
